"Sisterhood is Blooming"
Designed and developed a range of graphic tees for Strange Mercy, an online contemporary women's wear brand.
Strange Mercy launched its line of "Femininitees," or feminist-inspired graphic tees last October 2017. The brand aims to promote women empowerment and spread positive energy through its statements and graphics, a collection of designs inspired by the cultural revolution of the 70s. Part of Strange Mercy's goal is to find slow, sustainable, and ethical solutions in the production of its shirts. The brand produces quality pieces that will last longer and transcend trends as each piece is custom-made to eliminate unwanted stocks and minimize fashion waste to lessen environmental impact. The t-shirts are printed through a process called direct-to-garment printing, which is an eco-friendly printing solution that operates on a waterless, energy saving process and uses non-hazardous, non-toxic, 100% biodegradable ink.
